Taiwanese operator buys the base stations for WiMax networks


Taiwan's Tatung Telecom, which received a license for the deployment of WiMax network in the southern part of the island, plans to purchase in January 2008, 200 base stations, WiMax, to build wireless infrastructure in the city Kaushsyung (Kaohsiung). In this case, only a week ago became aware of the purchase by 197 base stations by company NEC, reports DigiTimes Telecom.
